The Link US project proposes the integration of new run-through tracks to improve operational flexibility and expand capacity at Los Angeles Union Station (LAUS).

 

Metro is partnering closely with the High-Speed Rail Authority (CHSRA) on this project, as well as working with the California State Transportation Agency (CalSTA), the Southern California Regional Rail Authority (SCRRA), Amtrak, Los Angeles – San Diego – San Luis Obispo (LOSSAN) Rail Corridor Agency, California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), and the cities of Los Angeles and Vernon.
